I don’t consider myself to be much of a blogger nor am I an expert on any other social networking media, but there is a story that needs to be told. Its a story about 143 million orphans in the world... about suffering and hope, oppression and justice, and a future. Its about an awakening to the TRUTH in our world today and asking ourselves a question... what are we going to do about it?
The statistics surrounding the rising orphan population and the immense suffering of these children who are left behind can be overwhelming. Project 82 realizes that we can’t rescue all of the orphans but we CAN rescue some of them. And together we can begin to bring hope and a future to one child at a time.
This site is dedicated to telling those stories. To raising awareness of the enormous needs of so many children and how little it takes to actually bring hope. We invite you to be a part of a movement that says..... the time is NOW. We will be the generation that stands up and says their suffering must end. We recognize that God has blessed us abundantly with the power and the resources to end it and in doing so, we will make manifest His glory to the rest of the world. I hope you will join us!
